It is my pleasure to welcome you to Tayyibah Girls School, a school where we strive to nurture confident, happy and compassionate young Muslim women who are proud of their faith, their identity and their place in British society.
At Tayyibah, we believe every girl is a precious trust from Allah SWT, with her own unique talents, qualities and potential. Our aim is to help each pupil grow in faith, develop a love of learning and have the confidence to try her personal best in all that she does. We encourage our girls to be ambitious, embrace challenges and understand that true success comes through effort, good intentions and trust in Allah.
Our Islamic ethos is at the heart of everything we do. Guided by the Qur’an and Sunnah, we place great importance on Tarbiyyah – nurturing the heart, mind and character. We want our pupils to embody the beautiful values of Islam through kindness, respect, honesty, humility, resilience and care for others.
We are proud to help our girls develop as confident British Muslims, who cherish their Islamic identity, appreciate the diversity of the society in which they live and make a positive contribution to their local community and the wider world. We want them to feel that they belong, that their voices matter and that they can achieve great things without compromising their values.
We recognise that a child's journey is shaped by the love and support of those around her. We therefore greatly value our partnership with parents, families and staff, working together to give every girl the encouragement and opportunities she needs to flourish.
My hope is that every pupil leaves Tayyibah with strong faith, a love of knowledge, beautiful character and the courage to make a difference. May Allah SWT guide our girls, bless our school community and place barakah in all our efforts. Aameen.
